May 27-30, Rest days in Amsterdam

Four days off in Amsterdam. It wasn't all time off though sadly: I got the bike serviced, cleaned up the panniers and bags, washed all the clothes, recharged all the electronics, made some gear changes, checked and made some changes to the next section of the route.

Also made pancakes - that’s the first cooking I’ve done in a month. They were pretty good too.

After the problems getting drinks in France I thought it’d be prudent to get a good supply of the powder. So I’d ordered some isotonic powder tablets about ten days ago. The idea is that you put one in your waterbottle and it dissolves and adds the isotonic extras. Unfortunately they hadn’t arrived! So I’ll have to find use for 40 isotonic powder tablets when I return. Pretty sure the answer is going to involve cycling, somehow.

Also spent some time playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and watching TV and movies with the family. And catching up with friends.

And there's always time for cake...
